BCI undergraduates visit Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka

2022.10.18

BCI undergraduates together with the academic staff recently visited the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka under the industrial exposure programmes organized by the institute. The visit offered a diverse amount of experience to the students and was a great learning venture. Our undergraduates had the opportunity to look into the technical and business mechanisms of the aviation safety regulator. The students had a hands-on experience of how the CAASL regulates a safe, secure, efficient, and environmentally friendly national civil aviation system that conforms to international standards and recommended practices. Since workplaces today are becoming increasingly multi-cultural and diverse, the visit to Civil Aviation Authority was intended to help BCI undergraduates to make their journey into the career world more exciting. BCI is grateful to Chairman of CAASL, Mr. Upul Dharmadasa CTC, and all the other officers and staff who assisted in making the exposure programme a success. The visit was facilitated by Professor Aminda Perera, Consultant, School of Business, BCI.
