Structure and the duration of the degree
The curriculum of the Bachelor of Education Honors in Primary Education Degree meets the requirement of SLQF Level 6.
The four-year study program consists of 122 credits including,
- Professional and academic studies
- Internal teaching practice program
- One-year internship program
- Research project.
An academic year consists of two semesters. There are three parallel exits.
On successful completion of;
2nd Year: Higher Diploma in Primary Education
4th Year: Bachelor of Education Honors in Primary Education
The curriculum of the Bachelor of Education (hons) Degree in Primary Education Programmme is divided into the following five areas of study:
- Professional Studies
- Curriculum Studies
- Foundations of Learning
- Optional Elements / Electives
- Professional Development and School Experience.
